“Conserving an ecological balance by avoiding depletion of natural resources.”

From the very beginning, before I knew exactly what service or product I wanted to offer, one thing has always stood clear. It would have to be socially responsible and ecologically beneficial.  This has proven to be more challenging, but so much more rewarding! It’s very easy for a company to slap the “green” label on a product, and it can be a very confusing marketplace for the consumer.  The following list of materials and business practices is to help you as the consumer understand what steps Rincon Road designs studio takes to minimize its impact on the earth.

Materials

Hemp: One of the strongest natural fibers, can be grown with out any pesticides, a great alternative to cotton and linen.

Organic Cotton: Grown in a manner to sustain the land it grows on, unlike conventional cotton which is one of the most chemically dependent crops and is very hard on the land.
